Concerned About A Student?
If you are concerned that a student may have a drug or alcohol problem, please refer him/her to the CSU Alcohol & Drug Online Assessment. To make a referral, have the student go to: https://myonlineforms.com/csu. There will be a prompt for a code: type in “voluntary”. Please assure the student that confidentiality will be maintained. The student will receive individualized feedback that includes specific recommendations and the option to attend a service offered by DAY (Drugs, Alcohol & You) Programs that fits the student’s level of risk.
When you are willing to express your concern by asking the student to take the assessment, then follow up with a conversation, most students will respond positively.
We also encourage you to contact the DAY Programs (491-4693) or Department of Alcohol & Drug Education & Prevention (491-1702) with any questions or concerns on how best to handle difficult situations or visit our websites: www.day.colostate.edu, www.alcoholprev.colostate.edu.
